Thursday, March 29- Arts and Drafts at the Rio Rita! Bring an art or craft project of your choice and enjoy our fine ambience with like-minded friends. Last week there were knitters, crocheters, quilters, basket weavers, even a screen printer! Have fun! Make friends! Create something! Starts at 7pm.

5pm-7pm Rio Rita Art Swap! Bring your unwanted or unneeded art and craft supplies and trade them for stuff you can use! Make new friends and contacts in the community! Trade your crap for something useful! Have fun! Drink beer!

Also coming soon to Rio Rita: full liquor bar for fancy cocktails, bigger and better wine and beer selection, fun and exciting new foods, classes in basket weaving, knitting and bookmaking!

Monday, March 19- Yoga on the patio! Michelle, our incredible and multi-talented bartender will teach a “Yoga for Bartenders” class on the patio at 4:30. Work off your post SXSW stress with us. The class is designed for service industry folks, but all you rock and rollers would probably benefit from some stretching as well. Totally low-key and beginner friendly, bring a towel or a yoga mat and join in the relaxation. Come on, you’ve earned it; those out of towners were a big pain in the butt (and back and legs and shoulders…). After class, stay for a beer (or chai, or coffee…) with Jacob Schulze in the lounge.

Thursday, March 22- Arts and Drafts! Bring a project of your own chosing, say “hi” to Michelle, grab some beer or wine or coffee (or even a sandwich or bowl of soup) and hang out with friends while we work on our art or craft or choice. Promises to be lots of fun and probably pretty informative as well. Starts at 7pm.
